International Sustainable Building Congress
The internationally renowned Vienna „BauZ!“ Congress on Sustainable Building will be held from February 15th – 17th, 2017 within the framework of the Vienna Bauen & Energie trade fair. The presentations and discussions to be held next February will be revolve around the central question “What will change? Planning from 2017 – 2050“.

Intep’s Contribution
Daniel Kellenberger’s presentation on the “2,000-Watt Neighborhood Reininghaus Alt in Graz“ will be among the leading contributions. This Intep project was selected as a presentation and discussion topic by the congress committee due to its significance for sustainable building.

2,000-Watt Neighborhood example Reininghaus Alt Graz
Austria’s long-term goal is the development and provision of an evaluation and quality assurance scheme for neighborhoods and districts. Kellenberger will talk about the Reininghaus project in Graz where this scheme has already been applied. Presenting the experiences and lessons learned during Austria’s first labeled “2,000-Watt Neighborhood”, he will describe the general approach while providing practical insights into the findings gleaned through the evaluation method.
