New book by Prof Peter Steiger out now
An eventful life
In his new book, entitled “Fliegende Möbel und andere Geschichten“ (Flying furniture and other stories), Intep founder and co-partner Prof. Peter Steiger narrates his eventful life, talking about his childhood and youth in the Neubühl Werkbund settlement in the Zurich Wollishofen district as well as the various opportunities and risks he faced on his way to becoming an architect and designer. Among various exciting episodes relating to Prof. Steiger’s stay in the United States, the reader learns about the famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright and his daily routine at Taliesin and about Steiger’s moonlight escape from the US, evading being drafted for the Korean War.
